Nexpiria is designed as a local-first app. This policy explains how the app handles information and device permissions.

Nexpiria is designed so that the core information you create in the app — such as deadlines, reminders, profiles, categories, history and scanned information — can be stored locally on your device. Nexpiria does not require an account to use its core functionality.
When you choose to scan or import a document, Nexpiria may use the camera or photo library permissions provided by Apple. The app uses OCR to extract useful information from documents. These permissions are requested only when the related feature is used.
If you enable notifications, Nexpiria uses Apple’s notification system to deliver reminders and other alerts you have configured. You can change notification permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
When you choose a feature that requires access to a system service, Nexpiria requests the corresponding iOS permission. You can refuse or later change these permissions in iOS Settings. Nexpiria does not request permissions that are not needed for the feature you are using.
If you enable app locking with Face ID or Touch ID, biometric authentication is handled by Apple’s system frameworks. Nexpiria does not receive or store your biometric data.
Nexpiria provides local data management features including export, import and local deletion. These features are controlled by you from within the app.
Nexpiria’s core product is designed to work locally. If future versions introduce optional third-party services or integrations, the privacy policy and App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before those features are introduced.
Nexpiria is not specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a remote account service.
We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The date at the top of this page will indicate the latest revision.
